The Choir sings choral music of all types – sacred, secular, serious and light music, choir members are encouraged to suggest pieces to sing. Our Christmas concert is, as you would, expect full of Christmas carols and other festive tunes.

In recent years we have sung lively arrangements of classic Christmas music, Winter Wonderland, Jubilate and the Christmas Lullaby by John Rutter as well as usual and unusual carols.

 

As with all our concerts members are invited to sing solos or read a poem, some favourite prose or even something that they have written themselves.

The Summer concert is a completely different affair with sunny music, light hearted verse and much frivolity. In the past our music has included a medley of TC theme tunes, Les Miserables and many other famous – and not so famous pieces.
